About the event
Children, Teachers & School in Today's Society
Join us for an exciting online event where we will dig into the ever-evolving roles of children, teachers, and schools in today's society. We will examine the ways schools for our youngest citizens can function as democratic communities with rich, meaningful school experiencs at the forefront. This hybrid format, including a pre-recorded presentation followed by an in-person group gathering promises to be both informative and engaging.
Approximately one week prior to meeting, participants will receive a recording of the presenation to watch at their own convenience. The presentation will end with some questions for reflection, which will be the basis for our group conversation. Join us on ZOOM ready to think, collaborate, and learn from other educators!
Participants will receive a certificate for 2 hours of professional development.
*By registering, participants agree to be subscribed to the ONS mailing list and receive information about future offerings and happenings. Participants also agree to the recording of the meeting by ONS and the use of the recording for reflective and marketing purposes. This could include, but is not limited to written, photographic, or video documentation.
